Best Acne Treatment Tips

At one time or another almost everyone encounters acne.  When one is faced with a major breakout, they will try anything to just have a clear, normal complexion just like everyone else.  In sheer desperation, acne sufferers will try almost anything to get rid of those embarrassing zits!

It is very easy to go into a supermarket or your local pharmacy and choose from a vast array of medications that treat acne.  However, sometimes it takes several weeks for these lotions and creams to produce the desired results.  There are several home solutions and herbal remedies that promise fast relief from skin blemishes and pimples.  Most of these products can be found in your kitchen or in your bathroom cabinet and do not cost an arm and a leg to try.  None of these remedies have been approved by the FDA or have passed clinical trials so they must be used with care.

One remedy that claims to give relief from acne overnight is to apply cotton balls soaked in warm salt water after you slit the pimple open.  Another home remedy involves the using honey.  Apply it to the affected area and leave it on for 15 minutes.  Rinse your face and then apply toothpaste and leave it on overnight.  When you wake up in the morning your pimples are supposed to be gone.

Here is a home remedy that uses egg white.  Apply it to the affected areas and leave it on overnight.  You may need to repeat this procedure several times to achieve the desired results.  Using a combination of egg white and lemon juice seems to be effective in curing acne as well as healing skin blemishes.  For some people they have used cotton balls that were soaked in vinegar and then applied strawberry leaves to their pimples.

There are some home remedies that make use of facial masks.  Cornmeal and oatmeal pastes in water have been recommended as well as using mashed bananas blended with 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of sour cream.  Cucumber pastes with such additions like yogurt, honey and strawberries promise to remove skin blemishes.  Some people have used a combination of eggs, powdered almonds and eggs and still others have mixed up a concoction of tomatoes, lemon juice and honey.

You need to be careful when experimenting with different home remedies for acne because different types of skin react to ingredients in different ways.  It is best to talk to a physician or a skin care specialist before embarking on this road.

Shuddha Guggul Capsules (Commiphora mukul) – This is a very famous herb in Ayurvedic medicine. This herb is able to both purify and rejuvenate.  It can cure skin rashes, eczema and other skin problems.
You have been introduced to some of the most common home remedies and herbal cures for acne.  It is always best to proceed slowly with home cures.  What works for one person will not necessarily work for another.
